Located on the banks of the river Chambal, the city itself considered the third voluminous city in the state of Rajasthan. The city is well-liked for its palaces, riverside greens, religious places, etc. It’s also famous for gold jewelry, silk sarees and none another than The Kota Stone. Kota is also a coaching capital of Rajasthan, home for more than 150 coaching centers that help aspirants to achieve their dreams. Streams like the entrance for JEE Mains, JEE Advanced for engineering and NEET-UG, AIIMS for medical will be the best option to opt and study here in Kota. 

The city of Kota was famed back in the 12th century when it was collared by Rao Deva and was declared as an independent state in the year 1631. It has a very unsettled history as the town was stormed by many rulers of different sovereignties, such as Mughals, Marathas, etc. It is popular for its minted framework in extinct times. It's palaces, temples, and wildlife too. Travelers can easily reach Kota by rail and road. And the nearest airport to Kota is Jaipur International Airport which is approx. 245 km from the city. The Seven Wonder Park

Haven’t visited the Seven Wonders across the globe? Not to worry! You can now explore all of them in a single visit to the Seven Wonders Park in Kota, Rajasthan. The baby structures of all the Seven Wonders look amazing and so satisfying on the bank of Kishore Sagar Lake, enhancing the attractiveness, includes Taj Mahal, Eiffel Tower, Christ the Redeemer of Brazil, Colosseum, Leaning Tower, Great Pyramid and Statue of Liberty enhancing the beauty. A total of 20 crores was spent by the Urban Development Department to build these majestic designs. It took more than 150 outstanding workers to complete the beyond belief project. Within a very short span of time, it has become the most visited and appealing place for explorers as well as locals. They gather there to enjoy a picnic with their friends or family. While talking about all the positive sides, I just want to woo you with add one more thing that is, cameras are allowed inside the premises. You can take the memories home. Also, facilities such as food stalls and eateries, lockers, and washrooms are also available to provide you more comfort and enjoyment. The entry fee is very nominal which is Rs.2 INR. As the time to visit this place is evening, the timings of the park as well are complimenting the same, which is 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM.  


Garh Palace

Also called as the City Palace, the enclosures and vaults are tricked out to look attractive with the paintings and mirrors across with hanging lights and flower-patterned spangles. The structure also displays marble walls and floors, and a very classy foyer. Due to all these things, this place is the utmost leading-light of the city. The construction is the perfect example of the joining of Rajput and Mughal styles of planning. 


Kota Barrage

This is the most valuable water-body of the Kota City, the state of Rajasthan, the Kota Barrage is built over the Chambal River. Stretched out across an area of around 27,332 sq. kilometer. The place gives you a thrilling view of water flowing through the barrage gates, which makes this place the unchanging stop for the travelers and the locals. At the endpoint of the barrage, you will find, the Kansua Temple devoted to Lord Shiva, which habitat a very rare quartet-faced Shivalingam.  


Chambal Garden

Located on the banks of the Chambal River in Kota, the state of Rajasthan. The garden is one of the most lovely and appealing spots in the city. You must appreciate the must-do thing that is boating. Spending your time on the inclines of the river in pleasant weather will give you so satisfying feel. It is also a part of the National Gharial Sanctuary, which was formed in 1983 with keeping in mind the reducing community of Gharials and Marsh Crocodiles. Not only this but the place is also renowned for many bird species and picturesque views. 


Garadia Mahadev Temple

This Garadia Mahadev Temple is one of the most distinguished holy places in the city which is situated close to the Chambal River hence allures a large number of devotees all over the year. The place is very beautiful and gives you the majestic view of its gorge and grand plains. To reach the shrine, one has to go down some steps and offer prayers to Lord Shiva. Although the place is not located in the main city, and on a distance of 28 km, bestowing, relaxing environment along with heavenly surroundings. 

Now, if we talk about the periphery of Kota, the state of Rajasthan, it will be so unjustified, not be consider Bundi, the city of Rajasthan. 


Bundi

Home to some traditional architecture and prehistoric art, the place is able to leave you astonished and make your Rajasthan Trip more worthwhile.
